When I moved to New Harmony in 2016, I was astounded by the number of hauntings. Every store and home I entered had a ghost or two in residence. I started talking to the locals and learned that New Harmony is a thin place, where the veil between the living and the dead is thin. This led me to write Haunted New Harmony. After the book was released, I found I enjoyed talking about the stories and decided to take the plunge and start a ghost walk business. For the first year, it was just me and my flashlight, leading people down the moonlit streets. Now, we have four tour guides and four separate tours to offer our guests. We continue to explore the legends and hauntings and add something new to our tours every year. It's been a very wild journey.
