Description

Explore the history of New Harmony's Community of Equality through the archival collections of three local institutions. Jennifer Greene (David L. Rice Library at the University of Southern Indiana), Heidi Taylor-Caudill (Historic New Harmony), and Ryan Rokicki (Working Men's Institute) will highlight documents, manuscripts, and other primary sources that illuminate the community during the years 1825-1827. Together, they will showcase how these complementary collections preserve the story of one of America's most fascinating social experiments.

Free and open to the public.
