Liberty on the Lawn

Liberty on the Lawn is a festive Independence Day celebration set against the striking backdrop of the Atheneum. This special evening honors both the bicentennial of New Harmony's "Community of Equality" and the nation's semiquincentennial, blending history, culture, and celebration. 

Guests can enjoy a relaxed summer evening with food trucks perfect for picnicking on the Atheneum's lawn, alongside live entertainment by the Liberty Belles—featuring Erin Bode, Molly Felder, and Liz Mumford. The night culminates in a spectacular custom light drone show at 9 p.m., illuminating the sky in a modern and memorable tribute to liberty and community.
