Description

Do you ever wonder why we carve pumpkins at Halloween? Why are Halloween colors black and orange? Why do we think about bats more during this time of year?  Come to Community House No. 2 to discover the whys behind our most loved Halloween traditions.  After the program we will break open some pumpkins and look at the science behind this most amazing fruit! (Yes, it is a fruit!) These programs are geared for ages 7 and older, but all are welcome to attend.  Program fee is included with Community House No. 2 admission, which is $5 for ages four and older. Call New Harmony State Historic Site at 812-682-3702 or email [email protected] to pre-register.
