The "Under the Beams" Concert Series brings world music to our New Harmony Stage through every Winter and Spring season.
Our 26th season kicks off with these Latin Grammy nominees Jorge Glem and Sam Reider have created a unique musical fusion bridging Brooklyn and Cumaná. Glem, a renowned Venezuelan cuatrista, and Reider, an American accordionist and composer, blend Venezuelan traditions—like merengue and joropo—with American jazz and roots influences. Their debut album Brooklyn-Cumaná(2022) earned a 2023 Latin Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Album. The project is both a cultural conversation and an irresistible blend of rhythm, innovation, and heart.
