Home Educated Program: Leaves and Trees

Learn to be a Naturalist Home Educated Program: Trees and Leaves. Come to Community House No. 2 and learn more about New Harmony’s rich past and the Naturalists that called it home.  Learn how Naturalists, or people who study nature, observe the world around them and what better way that to study the trees that surround us.  Learn to identify trees, learn why leaves change color in the fall, and how trees “secretly” communicate between each other.  Be prepared to take a walk! Program fee is included with Community House No. 2 admission, which is $5 for ages four and older.  These programs are geared for ages 7 and older, but all are welcome to attend.  Call New Harmony State Historic Site at 812-682-3702 or email [email protected] to pre-register.
